Eugene "Gene" F. Murray Sr., 77, of Manteno, formerly of the Peotone-Frankfort 
area, died Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee, 
as a result of post-surgery complications. 

Visitation 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fedde-Helfrich Chapel, Peotone. 
Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday at St. George Catholic Church, Bourbonnais, where 
he was a member. 
Rev. Kenneth Yarno will officiate.
Burial will be private. 
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

He was a professional blacksmith by trade and a semi-truck driver for many 
years. 
Retired from the Peotone Community School District 207 U maintenance in 1995. 
Worked at Murray Overhead Doors during his retirement. 
Born February 25, 1930, the son of Thomas J. and Norma Boyle Murray.

Surviving:  Wife, the former Betty R. Kessey, whom he married September 16, 
1950; 
5 children: 
Dale Jacobsen of Bourbonnais 
Rocky Murray of Manteno 
Rae Ann (Mickey) Sikula of McHenry 
Randy (JoAnn) Murray of Peotone 
Bobbi Kelley of Manteno 
10 grandchildren 
6 great-grandchildren 
1 sister, Norma Limparis of Palos Park.

Deceased: 
1 brother, Thomas J. Murray Jr.
3 sisters, LaVerne Hubbard, LaDoll Butenica, and Gloria Haynes.
