Sophia Schwartz, 97, of Peotone, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Beecher 
Manor Care.
Visitation: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and noon Sunday until the 1 p.m. 
services at the Fedde-Helfrich Chapel, Peotone. 
Pastor Jack Newberry will officiate.
Burial: Peotone Cemetery. 
Pallbearers: Shayne Schwartz, Rob and Rick Lalumendre, Alan Smallwood, Tom 
Perkins, and Michael Hensley. 
Born March 9, 1910, in Wayne County, to Jervis and Ada Hall Clark. 
Husband, Clifford E. Schwartz, whom she married June 25, 1932, in Gibson City, 
died November 13, 1994. 
Mmember of the First Baptist Church of Peotone. She enjoyed crocheting and 
wordsearch books.

Surviving:  1 son and daughter-in-law, Morris and Shelley Schwartz of Peotone; 
4 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, 
Rosalyn and John McTaggart of West Point, Mississippi, 
Gloria Hubbard of Manteno, 
Nellie and Jim Soper of Essex, 
Janet Lalumendre of Bourbonnais; 
24 grandchildren, 
54 great-grandchildren, and 
13 great-great-grandchildren.

Deceased:  1 daughter, Lela; 
3 sisters and 
2 brothers
