Dale W. Steinberg, 55, of Peotone, died February 9, 2010 at his home. 
Visitation 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in 
Peotone, and from 10 a.m. Saturday at Green Garden United Methodist Church, 
until the 11 a.m. funeral service. 
Rev. Linda Thomas will officiate.
Interment: Peotone Cemetery. 
Pallbearers: Cliff and Kevin Mikuce, Al Haag, Bob Davis, Gary Schweers and 
Britton Kauffman. 
Memorials: Green Garden United Methodist Church, where he was a member, or to 
the American Cancer Society. 
Field service engineer for Oce-Canon. 
Born October 2, 1954, in Joliet;
Son of Chester A. and Verna Krapf Steinberg. 
Graduate of Peotone High School and Southern Illinois University, where he was 
a member of Alpha Gamma Rho. 
Enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling.
Surviving: Wife, the former Diane Kuhn, whom he married April 28, 1979, at St. 
Patrick's Catholic Church of Wilton Center; 
1 daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Ryan Sadowski of Chicago; 
1 son, Brent (Kaitlyn Mangiaracina) Steinberg of Peotone; 
Mother of Kankakee; 
2 brothers, Ron Steinberg of Ocala, Florida and Rick Steinberg of New London, 
Ohio; 
1 sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Tom Kauffman of Davis;
Many nieces and nephews.
His father is deceased.
