Obit of Mrs. John Perrine Dated in ink as Jan 26, 1947. Newspaper unknown but probably Johnston City or Marion Johnston City Woman Dies at Home Sunday Mrs. John Perrine, 76, pioneer resident of Johnston City, died yesterday at her home, 1005 North Davis Street in Johnston City, after having been bedfast with diabetes for a year. Mrs. Perrine was born in Robertson County Tenn. She married John Perrine in 1899 and had been a resident of Johnston City for 48 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Johnston City. Besides her husband, Mrs. Perrine is survived by a son, Howard Perrine, Johnston City; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Taylor, Mrs. Ben Perrine, Johnston City and Mrs. Charles Perrine, Marion. The body is lying in state at the family home in Johnston City. Funeral rites will be held at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning from the Methodist Church in Johnston City with Rev. Homer Young, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Barham cemetery at Marion. (Mrs. John Perrine is Alice B. Barham, daughter of William R. Barham and Nancy Caroline Watts)
