Obit of Harry Engram Dated in ink as Oct 15, 1953. Newspaper: The Daily American, West Frankfort Illinois. Harry Engram, Johnston City, Dies at Home Harry Engram, 57, Johnston City, died at 1:25 am today in his home at 1007 Washington Avenue. He was the brother of William Engram of this city. In failing health for the past year, he had been seriously ill for six months. He had resided in Johnston City for 18 years and was employed at Chicago, Wilmington and Franklin's Orient Mine No. 2 here. He was a member of the local Masonic lodge and of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Johnston City. His survivors are his wife, Bessie; three sons and three daughters. They are: Eugene, Thomas and Gilbert Engram, all of Johnston City, and Mrs. William Moake, Johnston City; Mrs. William Lee, Pittsburg and Barbara Engram, living at home. Another brother Rube Engram, Herrin and two sisters Miss Daisy Engram and Mrs. Grace Fellows, both of St. Louis and eight grandchildren also survive. The body will lie in state at the family home in Johnston City after 6 pm today. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday at the Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Johnston City, Rev. Vernon Moore, church pastor, will officiate. Burial, with Masonic graveside rites, will be in Tower Heights cemetery here.
