Obit of Mary Ellen O'Daniell Dated in by hand in ink as April 11, 1958. Newspaper unknown. Mrs. O'Daniell, 88, Of Johnston City, Died Last Night Mrs. Mary Ellen O'Daniell, 88, life-long resident of Johnston City community, died Friday night in the hospital at Herrin, where she had been a patient since suffering a stroke Wednesday at her home, 204 Perrine street, Johnston City. Mrs. O'Daniell was a member of the Washington Avenue Baptist church at Johnston City and of the Pioneer Club, comprised of elderly Franklin and Williamson women. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Alice O'Daniell, a teacher at the Jefferson grade school in Johnston City who lived with her mother, and Mrs. Bernice Lannon, Glendale, Calif.; two sons, Louis and Clyde O'Daniell, both of Chicago, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The body will lie in state after 6 pm today at the Murman-Wilson funeral home in Johnston City. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday in the Washington Avenue Baptist church at Johnston City, with Rev. William Coleman officiating
