He was accidentally shot by a soldier while travelling by rail and died within a few hours, esteemed by all who knew him." Additional Comments: Robert Crisp had emigrated in 1852 to Rockford, Illinois from Fulstow, Lincolnshire, England. He was a railroad worker.
