Rockford [IL] Morning Star; Sun., Mar. 14, 1909
                        Peter Donnelly had Passed Away

Word was received in the city yesterday afternoon to the effect that Peter 
Donnelly, who for many years was one of the notable characters of the city, 
and died in Milwaukee after a short illness. Bright’s disease was given as the 
cause of death, he having been ill for about six weeks. 
Deceased resided in Rockford for many years and was a pressman by trade. He 
was a good workman and was employed in the local offices for a number of 
years. 
Two brothers are left to mourn his passing. William Donnelly of Chicago and E. 
J. Donnelly, employed at the C & N. W. station in this city. 
The remains will be take to Belvidere for burial, the funeral to  be held 
Monday.
