No church was ever here. Land was deeded by William George and Rebecca Andrews Ray from their farm. Earliest settlers of south part of Washington Township, town of Monroe, and surrounding country are buried here, including many of the descendents of Revolutionary Soldiers. It is a Protestant Cemetery, and Otho Lobenstein, undertaker, Monroe, Indiana, keeps the records, and the cemetery was recently enlarged. Sylvan Sprunger is Township Trustee, R. R. 1. Berne, Indiana.
