                           Quick Claim Deed

This Indenture, Made this 21st day of February, A.D. eighteen hundred and 
sixty-six between Margaret McKendry of the County of Adams in the State of 
Indiana of the first part, and Noah S. Sheets

Witnessth, that the said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum 
of Three Hundred and Sixty dollars to her in hand paid by the said party of 
the second part, the receipt whereof is hearby acknowledged; do hearby 
bargain, sell, convey, assign and forever Quick Claim unto the said party of 
the second part his Heirs and Assigns forever all my interest in and to the 
East Half of the South West quarter and the South West quarter of the South 
West quarter of section twenty nine(29) in Township twenty eight(28) North, 
Range fourteen(14) East containing one hundred and twenty acres more or less 
except the lower right in Said premises.

to have and to hold the premises above mentioned, to the said party of the 
second part to his Heirs and Assigns forever.

In Witness Whereof, the said Margaret McKendry
has hereunto set her hand and seal on the day and year first above written.

Before me W J Adelsperger    Recorder within and for said county, personally 
came     Margaret McKendry the grantor named in the above Deed of conveyence, 
and acknowledged it to be her voluntary act and Deed, for the purpose therein 
mentioned.

In Witness Whereof, I hereunto set my hand and seal, this 21st day of February 
A.D. 1866    W J Adelsperger  Recorder 

Additional Comments:
I have the original deed that my dad, Roger Sheets found amongst the items his 
Grandfather and Grandmother Christopher C and Dora (Kittle) Sheets left him. 
Christopher C was Noah S Sheets son. Margaret McKendry was Noah S Sheets 
mother. She had remarried after her first husband Christopher Sheets died 
around 1852.
