INDIANA MAN WHIPPED BY WHITE CAPS

Bloomfield, Ind.  Last night Joseph M. Britton was taken from his home in 
Newark, this county, and severely whipped by white caps.  He was badly injured.

Britton, it is alleged, has been making unlawful sales of liquors.  He was 
recently indicted for illegal selling of liquor.
