Willson Had Long Illness Mrs. Emma J. Willson of 230 Hoagland avenue, a pioneer resident of Allen County, died Tuesday night at her home following a extended illness. Ms Willson was the wife of Martin S. Willson. Born in Allen County on September 22, 1857 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David A. Robison, Mrs. Willson resided here her entire life. She would have been 76 years old next month. Mrs. Willson had been seriously ill for a year, having suffered a stroke last year and she has been an invalid for several years. Mrs. Willson was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and had devoted he life to religious and philanthropic work. She taught a Sunday school class at the Plymouth church for many years. She took an active interest in the Willing Worker and the Needlework guild and for a number of years was a member interest board of directors of the Y.M.C.A. She was chairman of the free bed committee of the old Hope Methodist hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Willson would have celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary in November. Mr., Willson is seriously ill at his home having been in ill health for several months. Surviving are the husband Martin S. Willson; six sons, Harry L. Willson of St Paul, Minn., Clinton R. Willson of this city, Fred M. Willson of Rochester, NY., Ralph Willson of Cleveland, Ohio. Capt James D. Willson of the United States Navy, and C.A. Willson of this city; one brother, James R Robison of Los Angles, Cal; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Peltier funeral; home where it may be viewed by friends Wednesday afternoon after 3 o'clock and Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at a time and place to be announced later.
