The Franklin Democrat, Friday, November 17, 1899, Volume XL, Number 19, page 1, column 1
Mrs. P. H. McCormick [sic – McCormack] died Wednesday night of last week at her home
in Columbus after a 
long illness. Mrs. Newt Woollen and Mrs. Charles Clark of this city attended the
funeral Saturday.

old Margaret McCormack died 6 Nov 1899 in Columbus, Bartholomew County, Indiana of
"organic disease of 
the heart" and that she was born in Columbus, Indiana to Jas. D. Ferrell and Anna J.
Brown. (citing Indiana 
State Board of Health, Certificate and Record of Death, Columbus, Bartholomew
County, number 220)
