EMALINE ARMITAGE.

   Emaline Armitage was born in Scott county, Kentucky, April 6, 1835, and with
her father's family came to Carroll county, Indiana, in the year 1835. She was
married to John S. Armitage on March 17, 1859. She was a daughter of Arthur G.
Connely, and a member for many years of the Delphi Baptist church. Her death
occurred in Delphi, on February 10, 1893, leaving surviving, her husband, four
sisters and one brother.
