CHRISTIAN BURKHOLDER.

   Christian Burkholder was born on January 7, 1829, near Brading, Pennsylvania.
He came with his father's family to Carroll county, Indiana, in the fall of
1832, and lived on a farm in Tippecanoe township until his death, which occurred
on May 8, 1900. He was married on January 25, 1860, to Sarah Stoner and to this
union were born ten children.
