Odell (1916) AMOS GRAHAM. Amos Graham was born in Washington county, Indiana, January 21, 1828, and, with his father's family, came to Delphi in the fall of 1828. His father was a native of Virginia. His mother died in 1838. His father died prior to the death of the mother. His brothers, Henry and Levi, became prominent lawyers of this county. His brother, Hugh, was a cabinet maker and his brother, Milton, was for many years the publisher of the Delphi Times. Samuel was the youngest, and was a printer. Harvey Graham moved to Michigan. The subject of this sketch was a carpenter. He was one of the oldest members of the Delphi Baptist church. He went to California in 1849, and was there two years. Later he was married to Mary Roblyer, near Battle Creek, Michigan. He died on December 9, 1903, leaving his wife, one son and daughter surviving.
