JOHN T. GWINN.

   John T. Gwinn was born in Kentucky in 1808, and with his parents moved to
Virginia, where, in 1829, he married Margaret Williams, and from there moved to
a farm near Lafayette, Indiana, and from there he moved to Burlington township,
this county, in 1834. His wife died in 1892. To this union were born five sons
and two daughters. Mr. Gwinn represented this county in the Legislature in 1854.
He died on June 18, 1899.
