Odell (1916) CHARLES THOMAS. Charles Thomas came to Carroll county, Indiana, in 1838, settling in Burlington township, where his parents raised a family of thirteen children, five daughters and eight sons, and all grew to manhood and womanhood. Mr. Thomas was twice married and had nine children. He was a prosperous farmer and a highly respected citizen. He died on February 25, 1901.
