EDWARD WALKER, M. D.

   Dr. Edward Walker was born in Ohio, March 14, 1829, and came to Delphi in
1850. He was married to Jane Riley, March 12, 1854. He practiced medicine for
over forty years, when he was elected clerk of the Carroll circuit court in
1898, serving two terms. He was mayor of the city of Delphi several years. He
died on February 16, 1908, survived by his wife, two sons and one daughter. His
wife died soon after his death and his son, Karl, died in 1914.
