Odell (1916) WILLIAM YOUNG. William Young was born in Butler county, Ohio, March 9, 1816, and came to Carroll county, Indiana, July 13, 1829. He was twice married, his first wife being Nancy Demisson; his second wife was Catharine McDonald, of Camden, to whom he was married on July 5, 1850. By occupation he was a carpenter. At the time of his death, October 2, 1898, he was the oldest resident of the city of Delphi. He was a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church. His wife died on May 4, 1896. He was survived by two daughters.
