DEATH MRS. CURTIS HENDRIX HER HOME KORO NEIGHBORHOOD

 Ora Estella, daughter of William and Lyda UNGER, was born April 29, 1882, and
departed this life at her home in the Koro neighborhood, December 16, 1911, aged
29 years, 7 months and 17 days. She was united in marriage to Curtis HENDRIX
June 18, 1910.  she leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, one son, Estin, by
a former marriage; two step-sons, Lester and Geraldine [sic], father, mother,
two sisters, one brother and a host of near relatives and friends.  One brother
and one sister preceded her to the spirit world.  Sister HENDRIX united with the
Methodist Protestant church at Koro at the age of sixteen under the pastorate of
Rev. W. L. Martin. She lived a faithful and devoted life. during her years of
illness she bore her suffering with true Christian fortitude until the last
moment.  She assured  her mother that though she had suffered for years she
would soon be free and enjoy eternal rest and then, closing her eyes, said: "The
way is clear," and entered into rest.

The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Will H. FLAGG, Monday
forenoon at the Koro church. Interment in the Burlington cemetery.
