The deceased was born in Union Co., Dec 8. 1831 and at the age of three years, moved with his mother and one brother to Carroll county where he has since resided. On March 23, 1854 he was married to Miss Susan METZGER who died March 27, 1867. To this union 3 children were born, one of whom survives, Mrs. Noah WOLFE. On Feb. 27, 1868 he was married to Miss Sarah ETTER, to which union 3 children were born, 2 of whom survive: Frank KINGERY and Mrs. E. e. BROWNE, besides 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 4 half-sisters and 3 half-brothers. The funeral was held at the Brethren church south of Camden, Tuesday morning. Interment in the MUSSELMAN cemetery. Additional Comments: His mother was Sarah MOYER, his father her first husband Jacob KINGERY. Sarah's second marriage was to David REPLOGLE which gave him all the half-siblings.
