  William G. Houston, 95, died Wednesday afternoon in a local hospital.
  He was born in Daviess County, Ind., was a retired farmer and a member of 
Oaklawn Church of God.
  Survivors include a son, Harlan Houston of Hot Springs; two daughters, Mrs. 
Cleo M. Russell of Park Ridge, Ill. and Mrs. Hazel Zick of Ft. Lauderdale, 
Fla. 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
  Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Oaklawn Church of God with 
Rev. Billy Sanders officiating.

Additional Comments:
William George Houston was born 19 Jan 1882 in Daviess County, IN, the son of 
George Houston and Emily Selby; he died 17 Aug 1977 in Hot Springs National 
Park, Garland County, Arkansas.  He married Julia McDaniel on 25 Sep 1904 in 
Daviess County, IN.  She was born 3 Oct 1886 in Princeton, Gibson County, IN, 
and died 16 Dec 1973 in Hot Springs National Park, Garland County, Arkansas.  
Both William and Julia were buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Hot Springs National 
Park, Arkansas.
