First it is my will and desire that after my decease, my body be decently interred in accordance with my situation and property in life. And that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of the first moneys that shall come in to the hands of my Executor. Secondly - I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Lucinda Barber for and during the term of her natural life, all my real estate together with all the rights, credits, moneys and effects of which I may die seized and possessed after the payment of all my debts and funeral expenses as aforesaid. Thirdly - I give and devise unto my beloved son Aden W. Barber and to his heirs forever the following described tract of land situate in Daviess County, Indiana to wit: The West half of the South East quarter of Section 36 in Township 2 North Range 7 West containing 80 acres. The said Aden to take possession thereof at the death of my said wife Lucinda. Fourthly - give and bequeath unto my two daughters Lucinda R. McCafferty wife of Thomas McCafferty and Mary E. Barber and the heirs of their bodies, all the moneys, rights, credits and effects belonging to my estate after the death of my said wife Lucinda, the same to be divided equally between them. Lastly I hereby appoint my beloved wife Lucinda Barber Executor of this my last will and testament, and it is my will and desire that she settle up my estate according to the provisions of this will without being required to give security for the faithful performance of her duties as such executor.
