Material may be freely used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material, *and* permission is obtained from the contributor of the file. ************************************************************************** Allegheny County,Pennsylvania Deed Book Volume 53, pages 321-322 Recorded 12th May A.D. 1837 John Woods to Joseph Woods Know all men by these presents that I, John Woods formerly of Allegheny County,in the State of Pennsylvania but now of Deerborn County and State of Indiana for divers good causes and considerations me therunto moving have made ordained,constitued and appointed and by these presents,made ordained,constituted and appoint my trusty friend James Woods of the County of Deerborn in the State of Indiana to being true and lawful attorney for me and in my name to ask,demand, receive receipt for and if necessary to sue for and recover all moneys coming to me, or to which I may be entitled to from the estate of my deceased Father, James Woods formerly of Allegheny County in the said State of Pennsylvania which moneys are suppose to be in the hands of the administrators of the estate of said James Woods deceased. I hereby authorize and empower my said att- orney James Woods to take all money for me and in my name and to do and perform all manner of acts in or about the recovering and receipting for my dividend or share of the aforesaid money and re- ceiving the same as fully,completely, amply and absolutely as I myself could or might legally do were I personally present at the doing thereof and for this purpose one or more attorneys under him to make constitute and appoint and generally to do and perform all manner of acts for me and in my name as I could were I present per- sonally at the doing thereof hereby ratifying,confirming and allow- ing whatsoever my said Attorney or his substitute may do for me in the proceedings.
