Allegheny County,Pennsylvania Deed Book Volume 53,pages 322-323 Valentine C.Woods Know all men by these presents that I,Valentine to C Woods of Dearborn County and State of Indiana Joseph Woods for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving have made,ordained,constitued and appointed my trusty friend,Joseph Woods of the said County of Dearborn in the state of Indiana my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name and in my stead and for my use and benefit to ask de- mand,receive and receipt for all monies which may be coming due and owing me from the estate of my deceased Grand Father,James Woods of Allegheny County,State of Pennsylvania hereby authorize and empower my said attorney Joseph Woods for me and in my name to received, receipt for,acquit and discharge all monies coming to me from the estate of my deceased Grand Father,James Woods in whoes hands soever the same my be and generally for me and in my name to do and perform all manner of legal acts in or about the receiving and receipting for monies or share of said estate as fully amply and absolutely as I could,would or might do were I personally present, at the doing thereof hereby ratifying allowing and confirming,whatsoever my said attorney Joseph Woods shall or may do for me in or about the fore- going premises.
