Joshua Clark 180I-1887 Decatur County, Indiana.  Record of Deeds. Joshua Clark and Rebecca Clark his wife of Decatur County in the State of Indiana convey and warrant to William S Woodfill and Marsh W Baker of Dacatur County in the State of Indiana for the sum of thirty two hundred dollars the following Real Estate in the State of Indiana towit.  The west half of the southwest quarter of section thirty three, township Eleven Range Nine containing Eighty Acres more or less.  In witness whereof the said Joshua Clark and Rebecca Clark his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals this second day of February 1857.                           his Joshua x Clark                         mark                         her Rebecca x Clark Decatur County, Indiana.  Record of Deeds. This indenture, made this, tenth day of July in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven between Joshua Clark, Guardian of the person and Estate of Mary Randall and Ira F Randall heirs of Alfred Dailey deceased as hereinafter named of the one part and Aaron G Dailey, of tha County of Decatur and State of Indiana of the other and second part, Witnesseth, that whereas heretofore towit; on the 24th day of June in the year last aforesaid the said Joshua Clark, guardian as aforesaid, filed in the clerks office of the court of Common Pleas in and for the County and State aforesaid, his certain petition asking said court among other things for an order to sell the undivided interest of his said wards, in and to certain pices or parcels of land belong-ing to the widow, heirs and heireses of said Alfred Dailey late of said county deceased and which said lands are herein after described and whereas afterwards towit: At the July Term AD 1857 of said Court (viz) on the fourth Judicial day of said term the court made an order for the sale of said Real Estate at private sale for a price and sum not less than the appraised value thereof.  And on the said judicial day last aforesaid Viz being the 9th day of July in the year last aforesaid before the court aforesaid.  The said Court then and there appointed Henry G Worley and Samuel Ellis, Appraisers to appraise the undivided interest of the said Ira F and Mary Randall in and to the lands refered to and afterwards towit.  At the term last aforesaid court on the tenth day of July in the year last aforesaid. 525.00 for 1/8 of land. Joshua Clark 1801-1887 Decatur County, Indiana.  Record of Deeds. This indenture made this seventh day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty between Joshua Clark and Rebecca his wife of the County of Douglas Territory of Kansas of the first part and Richard C Talbott of Greensburgh, Gounty of Decatur State of Indiana of the second part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that certain piece or parcel of land situated in the County of Decatur and State aforesaid.  Being lot number one (1) in Monforts addition to the Town of Greensburgh, a plat of which is recorded in the proper office in said County, reference being had to said plat will more fully appear to have and to hold the said promises with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the Second part, his heirs and assigns forever.  And the said party of the first part do hereby oovenant with the said party of the second part,his heirs and assigns that they are lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid.  That the Said promisee are free and clear from all encumbrances whatsoever and they will forever warrant and defend the same vith the appurtenances unto the siad party of the second part his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.  In witness whereof, the said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written signed, sealed and delivered in presence of E. On this seventh day of April AD 1860 before me a Justice of the  Peace in and for said county, come Joshua Clark and Rebecca his wife to me personally known to be the identical persons described in and who executed the above conveyance as grantors and acknowledged the same to be their own free act and dead. She the said Rebecca being by me first made acquainted with the contents of said instrument upon a private examination seperate and apart from and out of hearing of her said husband acknowledged that she executed the same and relinquished her dower in the real estate therein mentioned freely and without any corsion compulsion or undue influence of her said husband.
