All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/in/infiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Marilynn Wienke http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00003.html#0000703 June 25, 2008, 12:37 am Banner-Journal, Black River Falls, Jackson Co, Wis October 22, 1958 Mrs. Russell Hull, about 89, widow of the only brother of the late Congressman Merlin Hull of Black River Falls, passed away at Waterloo, Indiana Tuesday, Oct 21, 1958 according to the telephone message received here by Perry Hull, son of the late Congressman and a nephew of the deceased. She has been an invalid in recent years. Perry Hull left Wednesday to attend the funeral services which will be conducted in Waterloo. Mrs. Hull the former, Nettie E Chamberlain was a native of Indiana. Russell Hull was reared in Jackson County, Wisconsin, went to Indiana in 1894 and established a business there, later having a position in Washington, D.C. and in March of 1950 he and his wife returned to Indiana where his passing occurred at Waterloo on November 17, 1950 at the age of 78 years. He was buried there. The late Merlin Hull in addition to having one brother and two sisters. One, Mrs. Margaret Hull Jones passed away March 14, 1951 and his other sister, Miss Effie, the only remaining member of the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Hull is Miss Effie B. Hull who resides in Washington, D.C. Merlin Hull's passing occurred May 17, 1953. Mrs. Russell Hull will be remembered by some of the senior citizens of this community as she visited here on several occasions and many years ago spent an entire summer here.
