Death of Hon. Russell L Hull
Merlin Hull, who was preparing to go to Washington, D.C. Saturday, was called 
to Waterloo, Indiana by the sudden death of his brother, Russell L. Hull, who 
passed away of coronary thrombosis. He apparently had not been ill until a few 
hours before passing away. He was about 78 yeas of age.
He leaves Nettie Hull, his widow; one brother, Merlin Hull; two sisters, Mrs. 
Margaret H. Jones and Miss Effie B. Hull, of Washington, D.C.
Mr. Hull was engaged in business in Waterloo, Ind., for many years until he 
was appointed to a Civil Service position in the General Accounting office, 
Washington, D.C. He resigned from that position last March and returned to 
Indiana, apparently not in the best of health.
His funeral was held at Waterloo Monday afternoon. Further details will be 
given later.
He was born in Sechlerville attended school there and graduated from high 
school in Black River Falls in 1892. He went to Indiana in 1894. Among those 
who attended school with him in Sechlerville are Elmer A Martin, of Hixton; 
Mrs. Grace Sechler Ross, of Sechlerville; and Mrs. Bertha Dunn of Alma Center. 
He had visited here and at Sechlerville several times. BANNER-JOURNAL -

Russell was the son of George Miller Hull and Hannah Bernice Baker.
He married Nettie E Chamberlain June 4, 1996 at Waterloo, DeKalb Co, IN
