Muncie Press, 28 Jan 1907
Frederick M. Applegate, 54, a retired farmer, died at his home, 505 North Dick 
street, this morning at 4 o’clock.  Mr. Applegate had been suffering from a 
lingering illness of congestion of the liver which caused his death.     He is 
survived by a widow, three daughters and one son.  The decedent had lived in 
Muncie for a year coming here from his farm west of Muncie.     The funeral 
will be held in Hopher chapel, the cortege leaving the residence at 10 
o’clock, Wednesday morning.  Burial will be made in Hawk cemetery.
