WILLIAM APPLEGATE DIES
William Applegate, 83, died yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the home of 
his brother, Jonathan Applegate, in Yorktown.  He had been ill one week.  
Surviving are two brothers, Jonathan and Alfred Applegate, of Muncie, and one 
sister, Mrs. Marietta Drumm, of Gaston.  Funeral services will be held 
tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Yorktown Christian Church.  Burial 
will be in the Hawke Cemetery.
