GALBRAITH IS DEAD Well Known Woman's Condition was Not Considered Serious The many friends of Mrs. Mary Jane Galbraith, 71, were deeply affected to hear of her death which occurred at 3 o'clock Friday, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Fay, 501 West Howard street. Mrs. Galbraith had been ill for a few weeks, but her condition was not thought to be serious. She was well known throughout the city, having lived here since 1860 coming to Muncie from Dayton, O. The funeral services will be conducted from the residence at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The Rev. Benjamin F. Nyce, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will deliver the discourse. The following persons will act as pallbearers: B. C. Bowman, William Wood, John C. Eiler, William Hamilton, Dr. D. A. McLain and William Traillender. The body will be laid to rest in Beech Grove Cemetery.
