Alexandria Times-Tribune, July 18, 1906
Solomon Hiatt, aged seventy-two years, died of paralysis yesterday morning at 
9:30 o’clock at his home six miles east of the city, in Delaware county.  
Funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2 o’clock at the Bethel church and 
interment will be made in the cemetery near by.  The funeral party will leave 
the home at 1 o’clock, and the services will be in charge of the Masonic 
lodge, of this city, of which the deceased was a member.
