Muncie Press, April 5, 1917
Mrs. Emma E. Howell, age 50 years, widow of Frank Howell, died Wedneday 
morning at her home, 111 West Willard street, following an illness of several 
weeks.  One daughter, Mrs. Earl Edgington and one brother, John Swinds, of 
Terre Haute, survive.  The funeral will be held at the residence Thursday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.  The Rev. John F. Fraser of the First Baptist 
church, will officiate and interment will be made in Beech Grove cemetery.
