RETIRED FARMER IS CALLED
John H. Lamb, 73, retired farmer and veteran of the civil war, died 
unexpectedly last night of heart trouble at his home, 1307 West Sixth street.  
He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Leannah Lamb; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Fox, 
of Monroe Mich., and Mrs. Ray West, of Muncie; two sons, Edgar A., of Muncie, 
and Moody R., of Richmond.  The funeral services will be held at the residence 
at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon with the Rev. W. J. Hayers and Williams Post, 
G.A.R., in charge.  The remains will be taken to Wayne County for burial 
Saturday morning.
