Muncie Daily Herald, 21 Jan 1899
James McClelland died at his home two miles southwest of the city at 2 o’clock 
this (Saturday) morning.  The deceased was 82 years old and one of Delaware 
county’s old residents.  The funeral will occur from the house at 2 o’clock 
tomorrow afternoon.  The remains will be buried in Beech Grove.
