Muncie Daily Times, 17 Oct 1891
Mrs. McClellan, wife of James McClellan, one of the old citizens of Delaware 
county, died at the home of her son, Wm. A. McClellan, four miles north of 
this city on the Wheeling pike, at 3:30 o’clock this morning.  Mrs. McClellan, 
who was quite old, was visiting at the home of her son and yesterday suffered 
a paralytic stroke from the effects of which she died this morning.  Funeral 
services will be held at the residence tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock.  
Interment in Beech Grove cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Mrs. James McClellan was Hariet Beemer, the daughter of Frederick and Sarah 
(Allen) Beemer.
