Muncie Press, July 18, 1922
Funeral services for George Washington Resoner, 82, who died Saturday night at 
Blue Island hospital in Chicago, where he had gone to visit a daughter, Mrs. 
Cliff Howell, were held at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home of his 
son, Edwin K. Resoner, with whom he had made his home.  The Reverend Max 
Shafer and members of Williams post No. 78, G.A.R. officiated at the 
services.  Burial was in Beech Grove Cemetery.
