Eli Snyder, 55, a well known and prominent citizen of Eaton, died last night 
at his home.  Mr. Snyder recently moved from his farm to Eaton.  He had 
resided in the county all his life and was a lifelong member of the Dunkard 
church near Eaton.  A widow and two children, Burl and Lyle Snyder survive.  
The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
     The cause of Mr. Snyder's death is unknown and it is probable that a post 
mortem examination will be made.  The decedent had been a sufferer from kidney 
trouble for the past five years and had been seriously ill for a year.
