Thompson Sharp to Christena Bowers be it remembered that on this day the 
following Marriage to wit:Indiana to wit: Delarware County ss: To all who shall 
see these presents and greetings:  KNOW YE, That any person legally authorized 
to solemnize matrimony is hereby licensed to join in marriage as husband and 
wife Thompson Sharp and Christena Bowers and for so doing this shall be his 
sufficient authority. 
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Thomas Matthews, Clerk of the Delaware Circuit Court, 
hereunto subscribe my name and affix my seal of said Court, at Muncie, this 
13th day of November 1849. "signature" Thomas Matthews, Clerk.
and afterwards, to wit on 17th day of November 1849, the following Certificate 
was returned INDIANA, TO WIT: DELAWARE COUNTY, ss:
THIS CERTIFIES, That I joined in Marriage as Husband and Wife, Thompson Sharp 
and Christena Bowers on the 15th day of November 1849. "signature" B Irwin
A true record that T. Matthews, CR Minister of Gospel
