Barlow, 56, who came to Elkhart a year ago last month from Muncie, Ind., where he had been engaged in the ice cream and milk business, died at 7:30 Tuesday night at his home, 408 Jackson place. Affliced with cancer, he had been confined to the house for the last two months. The body was taken today to his former home at Muncie, now occupied by a brother, and the funeral service will be held there at 2 p.m. Friday, with burial at Albany. Mr. Barlow was the proprietor of the Nehi bottling works at 411 Brady street. He was born Oct 10, 1875, at Albany, the son of William and Elizabeth (Sanders) Barlow. He was married June 10, 1906, to Miss Willmetta Young of Albany, who survives him, with three children and a foster son, Earl, Mary Jane and Thomas Barlow, at the home and Charles McComas of Muncie. There also are four brothers and three sisters. Mr. Barlow was a member of the Baptist church at Albany.
