C. Clapp, a Traveling Salesman, Shoots Himself in The Head at Hotel Hattle - Dwight C. Clapp, a traveling man aged about 55 years, whose home is at Owosso, Mich., committed suicide, at Hotel Hattle in Goshen at noon Thursday by shooting himself in the head, with a 32 calibre revolver over his right ear, the bullet penetrating the brain and finally lodging apparently over the right eye. He died with an hour, never having regained conciousness. The act seemed to have premeditated as he bought the revolver at the Goshen hardware store. He had nearly R25 on his person.
