MARY GOOCH DIES OF PNEUMONIA AT HOSPITAL - Mrs. Mary Gooch of 514 Virginia avenue died at 12 o'clock today at the Elkhart General hospital where she was taken last week. Death was due to pneumonia from which Mrs. Gooch had suffered for about two weeks. Mrs. Gooch who was born September 20, 1868, is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lucinda Coan, with whom she lived; a son, Edwin Gooch, of Iowa; a son Carlisle Gooch, of Ewbanks, Ky., a stepson, Jennings Gooch of Ewbanks; a son, Winifred Gooch of Terre Haute; a daughter, Mrs. Elva Warren of Nappanee. She came here from Ewbanks last August. She was a member of the Baptist church. A week ago she submitted to an operation for goitre, after an illness of three months and pneumonia followed. Her husband Crismond Gooch died six years ago.
