Hepler, Mary Hepler, aged 67 years, wife of Samuel S. Hepler of 525 Aspenwold Ave., died at 2:30 o'clock this morning. Death was caused by cancer after a serious illness beginning in March. The family have lived in Elkhart six months, having come here from Jones, Michigan. The funeral service will be held Friday, with a short service at the home at 12 o'clock and another at the Hepton Union church, three miles south of Nappanee, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. A. Gerginsky, pastor of Elkhart Church of God, of which Mrs. Hepler was a member. The burial will take place at the church cemetery. Mrs. Hepler who was a daughter of David and Mary Hepler, was born in Kosciusko County, Indiana, on October 25, 1855. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. L. M. Reed of Jones, Michigan and Miss Iva Hepler who is at home; a grandson, a brother, Casper Hepler, of Morristown, Michigan and a sister, Mrs. Jermima Burkett, who when last heard from lived in Missouri.
