Mrs. Hepler was born May 18, 1860 about a mile and a half southeast of Nappanee, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Evans. She was a member of the First Brethren church at Nappanee. Funeral services will be held at the Hepton church at 2 p.m. Monday in charge of the Rev. B. F. Owens of the First Brethren church of Nappanee. Burial will be in the Hepton Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home until the hour of the funeral. Mrs. Hepler is survived by her husband, Jackson Hepler, three sons, Harvey W. Hepler, St Louis; Lloyd N Hepler, South Bend, and Claude H Hepler, Nappanee, three daughters, Mrs. Dora H. Roose, Goshen, Mrs. Maude O. Hawley, Nappanee and Mrs. Edith M. Weaver, Etna Green; 23 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; two brothers, John S. Evans and Daniel Evans, both of Nappanee and two sisters, Sarah E. Kreider, Fowler, Colo., and Malinda Shock, Colorado Springs.
