Goshen News, 11 Oct 1930
Mrs. Elizabeth Kiefer, aged 81, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elijah 
Gardner, on the Silver St road east of Goshen, last night.  Mrs. Kiefer lived 
in West Goshen until about five years ago.  Besides Mrs. Gardner, there are 
two sons who survive, Jacob of Goshen and Len of Nappanee, and thirteen 
grandchildren.  The funeral will be held Monday at two oclock at the Rock Run 
church of the Brethren, Rev. Zigler officiating. Burial at Rock Run cemetery.
