 Funeral services for Mrs. Maria Lantz, 73, who died Monday morning at the 
home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Elmer Coan, of Ren street, will be held at 2:30 
tomorrow afternoon at the Clinton church, near Middlebury.  The remains were 
taken to Middlebury yesterday.  Mrs. Lantz was born in Ohio on November 20, 
1843, and was here on a visit.  Apoplexy caused death.  Besides the Elkhart 
relatives the deceased is survived by three sons, Henry, of Newcastle, Harvey 
of Fort Clinton, Ind., and David, of Oak Harbor, Ill., daughter, Mrs. John 
Pletcher, of Middlebury, and two sisters, Alice Gooch, of Albia, Ky., and 
Isabelle Gooch of Lagrange.
