Goshen Daily News, 25 Nov 1905: William Lantz, who died at 2 o'clock Friday at 
his home in Waterford of cancer, was a veteran of the Civil War, serving as a 
private in B company, 29th Ind. Inf.  He was 84 years old.  He leaves two sons 
and two daughters, Lester Lantz of Elkhart, Elma Lantz of Wakarusa, Mrs. Mary 
Keck of Brethren Mich., and Elizabeth Hencel of Syracuse.  The funeral will be 
Sunday morning at 10 o'clock from the Christian church in Waterford.
