Elkhart Truth 29 Apr 1930
Orrin N. Lumbert, 82, who was a well known resident of Elkhart from 1883 until 
about 35 years ago, died yesterday at Grand Rapids, Mich.  The body is to be 
brought to the Meyer mortuary, 216 West High street, this evening, and the 
funeral service will be conducted there at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, in charge of 
the Rev. J. D. Brosy of the Grace Lutheran church.  The burial will be on the 
family lot in Grace Lawn cemetery.  Mr. Lumbert is survived by a daughter, 
Mrs. Olive E. Wilson of Chicago. He was born in Ingham county, Michigan, the 
son of Orrin and Betsy (Reynolds) Lumbert.  After serving int he Union
