Peterson, aged 56 years, wife of John F. R. Peterson died last evening at 11:00 o'clock at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tobias Cripe, 1311 South Main street. Death was caused from acute diabetes following a two days illness. Mrs. Peterson was taking care of her mother, where she was taken ill. She is survived by her husband, her parents, three sons Hallett Peterson of Manistee, Michigan; Wilbur and Simon Peterson both of Goshen; one daughter, Mrs. Homer Kelsey, five grandchildren; six brothers, Simon, Jacob, Samuel and Jesse all of Chicago; Elijah and Henry Cripe of this city; three sisters, Mrs. John Cripe of Nappanee; Mrs. Chauncey Alwine of Goshen and Mrs. george Weaver of Elkhart. The body was taken this morning to her home, 610 South Fifth street, from where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock and at 2:30 o'clock at the First Brethren church, of which she was a member. Rev. Geo. J. A. McInturff of the First Brethren church will officiate. Burial will be made in the Oak Ridge cemetery.
